Monsoon Announces the Launch of Monsoon for Amazon Seller Central

July 5, 2006

Monsoon, the premier provider of online marketplace sales management software, today announced the addition of Amazon Seller Central to its list of markets served. For Monsoon users, this means that selling non-media items on Amazon is now possible through Monsoon. Product categories that can now be sold on Amazon Seller Central include: Console Games, Computer Games, Computers, Consumer Electronics, Computer and Electronics Accessories, Camera and Photo, Tools and Hardware, and many others.

With this announcement, Monsoon becomes the first and only software company to offer a sales management tool for Amazon Seller Central.

Currently more than 7,000 businesses list products for sale through Amazon Seller Central. Until now Amazon Seller Central users have largely relied on spreadsheet files or the Amazon website to upload product information to the market. Now Amazon sellers can handle all facets of listing, pricing and order fulfillment through Monsoon's sales management software.

Monsoon CEO Kanth Gopalpur is excited to make Monsoon's powerful tools available to Amazon Seller Central users. "Monsoon has a long history of generating tremendous value for sellers of books, music, and DVDs on Amazon. Now we can provide that same value to sellers of other products. I am so pleased to be able to add Amazon's Seller Central to our range of products, offering this service to all sellers, large and small."

Founded in 2002, Monsoon provides software that enables retailers to easily load, competitively price, and more efficiently manage items they list on marketplaces like Amazon and eBay. Monsoon was one of the first software companies to leverage marketplace product data and technology platforms to help its users improve sales and profits, and it has established a healthy lead as the marketplace management tool of choice for serious sellers. Monsoon's headquarters is located in Portland, Oregon.
